Financial Planning Administrator (Junior) with route to Paraplanner

Are you a Financial Administrator with ambitions to build a career in client facing Financial Planning? Are you wanting to work towards a level 4 diploma in Financial Planning with your exams and study materials paid for? This Employer is a national Independent Financial Advice firm with a presence across the whole of the UK and they have an office based in London that currently has a vacancy for an individual who wants to continue to build a career and to increase their experience within wealth management. This role has a clear, fully supported route starting as an administrator, before progressing into a paraplanners role (and beyond).

This employer has a proud reputation for training and developing and supporting their staff throughout their whole career. As a business they offer whole of market advice on pensions, investments, tax planning, IHT, trusts and some protections. Whilst they are a large national firm, they do maintain a small business feel to their local office operations and prefer to offer friendly holistic financial planning rather than transactional pieces of work. They have built on a very good reputation locally and they are on course to obtaining a fifth consecutive year of revenue growth.

The role will involve carrying out administration, client registrations, producing reports on client portfolios and actioning and implementing any new services offered to your clients. (eg transferring pension funds from one provider to another on behalf of your client). You will be responsible for producing, chasing and recording documentation, interacting directly with outside service providers and clients alike.

This office has ambitions to expand the business greatly over the next 2 years by doubling their staff count and AUM. The business prides itself on using the latest tech and giving their staff high quality equipment to complete their jobs to the highest quality and in the most efficient manner and they are investing heavily in staff development via the industry exams and on the job training.

The successful candidate will have some experience working as an IFA Administrator or as an Administrator in a Wealth Management firm and will have taken some steps towards becoming a Paraplanner. The role will be office based and you will report into the Practice Manager. My client can offer a very secure and rewarding role, with an excellent benefits package and bonus structure including pensions, death in service and very substantial earning potential. The hiring managers are looking to offer £30k basic salary + bonus. They will actively train you up towards becoming a paraplanner and will invest heavily in your training and development and support you in any education that you require to achieve this.
