We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning practice in Finchley who are looking to recruit a Financial Adviser.

Job Description

As a Financial Adviser, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing an established client base while also proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional financial advice, guide clients on investment, retirement, tax, and estate planning, and grow your client portfolio. You will be expected to leverage your sales acumen and financial expertise to build lasting relationships and support clients in achieving their financial goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and investment management, with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

Client Management & Retention:

  • Manage an existing portfolio of clients, offering ongoing support, portfolio reviews, and financial planning services.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to ensure satisfaction and to discuss their evolving financial goals.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the financial well-being of existing clients through tailored solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clients' financial needs and preferences.

New Business Development:

  • Proactively prospect and identify new clients through networking, referrals, cold calling, and outreach.
  • Develop and implement strategies to generate new business, expanding the firm's clientele.
  • Cultivate relationships with potential clients and provide customised financial solutions.
  • Attend networking events and engage in community outreach to build brand awareness and generate leads.

Financial Planning & Advisory:

  • Provide comprehensive financial advice, including retirement planning, tax strategies, investment recommendations, and estate planning.
  • Assess clients' financial situations, risk tolerance, and goals to create personalised financial plans.
  • Stay informed on market trends, financial products, and regulatory changes to ensure clients receive the best advice.
  • Work closely with clients to educate them on financial products and services that suit their needs.

Person Specification

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Services.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in financial planning and advisory services.
  • In-depth knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and regulatory requirements.
