Fram is working with a second-generation wealth manager located in the South-East of England. They are eager to engage with advisors who feel dissatisfied with the ongoing consolidations, acquisitions, and internal transformations within the industry.Our client harbours no inclination towards Private Equity investment or the prospect of acquisition. Instead, they seek advisors who aspire to establish a long-term, stable environment for both you and their clients. Their aim is to expand assets under management (AUM) through advisors, thus they are prepared to offer new advisors who join them within the next year a stake in the business.This position is a salaried one, targeting advisors with an existing clientele and a demonstrable history of business development through personal networks and the nurturing of existing portfolios. It presents an excellent opportunity for a certified advisor hailing from either an independent or restricted background. Additionally, our client boasts an in-house investment proposition and a variety of funds that advisors can recommend to clients, while retaining the flexibility to explore other investment avenues.  The role is to provide clients with specialist advice on how to manage their money. It will involve researching the marketplace and recommending the most appropriate products and services available, ensuring that clients are aware of products that best meet their needs.  Responsibilities include:
  • contacting clients and setting up meetings, either within an office environment or in clients' homes or business premises
  • conducting in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provision and future aims
  • analysing information and preparing plans best suited to individual clients' requirements
  • completing risk analyses
  • researching the marketplace and providing clients with information on new and existing products and services
  • designing financial strategies
  • assisting clients to make informed decisions.
  • researching information from various sources, including providers of financial products
  • reviewing and responding to clients changing needs and financial circumstances
  • keeping up to date with financial products and legislation  
A likely candidate will be an experienced advisor looking for a well-established, stable firm that is growing organically. Our client is offering a good basic salary, half yearly bonus with no validation and a long-term incentive bonus. You can be based anywhere in the UK but would need to attend monthly or quarterly meetings in the Sussex area.
