The role

Working closely with the Managing Director and senior financial planner, this role will involve providing a full range of administration and paraplanning support.

Duties will include:

  • Booking client appointments and annual reviews.
  • Preparing annual reviews.
  • Writing reports for new business, pension switches, ISA switches and protection.
  • Handling paperwork and plan implementation.
  • Submitting LOAs and chasing for information.
  • Managing the back-office system and keeping files up to date.
  • Processing new business through to completion.

Essential Skills

  • At least two years experience working in a UK financial planning firm.
  • Financial Planning Level 4 qualification or progress towards it.
  • Wealth management administration and/or paraplanning experience.
  • A good knowledge of business submission to a variety of providers.
  • Cashflow forecasting preferably CashCalc.
  • Investment and fund comparison knowledge and experience preferably using FE.

  • Excellent communication skills and able to build client trust and confidence.
  • Strong attention to detail, an organised approach and able to prioritise and remain calm under pressure.
  • Good Microsoft and diary management skills.
