MBF have partnered with a growing financial planning firm who are committed to delivering modern financial solutions to their clients. Their current requirement is for an IFA Practice Manager to work closely alongside the MD. Their focus is on providing personalised client service while integrating cutting-edge financial technology. Located in the bustling WeWork on Bank, they primarily serve senior company executives and high-net-worth individuals in and around the City of London.

Role Overview:

They are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to manage the day-to-day operations of their IFA business and assist the Managing Director. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the IFA/Financial Planning sector, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a small team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years working within an IFA practice.
  • University degree.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues.
  • High level of numeracy.
  • Proficiency in utilizing new software and back-office systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Co-Pilot.
  • Experience with mail-merge, bulk-emailings, Docusign, and preferably bulk client acquisitions and onboarding.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Capacity to remain focused and calm under pressure.
  • Willingness to collaborate with and lead a team.

Operations and Management:

  • Oversee new business processing.
  • Conduct ongoing annual reviews of existing clients.
  • Review and optimize all company processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Managing Director in the annual audit of company methodology documentation.
  • Monitor firm revenue to ensure alignment with annual targets.
  • Support the Managing Director in monthly adviser performance reviews.
  • Manage the administration and paraplanning team.
  • Enhance client communication and engagement processes.
  • Manage client servicing and communication.
  • Foster effective working relationships across departments.

HR:

  • Conduct staff reviews, disciplinaries, training, and CPD.
  • Manage staff leave and sickness.
  • Serve as the main liaison between HR support agencies and the company.
  • Review and update company HR policies and procedures.
