Duties will include:

  • Working closely with the MD of the business
  • Responsible for the day to day running of the office including incoming and outgoing post, scanning, filling, producing letters, reports, minute take and managing diaries.
  • Manging in-box/emails
  • Compliance administration
  • GDPR administration
  • Some HR Administration - staff records, holidays and sickness etc
  • Managing office, meeting and greeting visitors
  • Office supplies/facilities
  • Mortgage Paraplanning - researching the best products to support the clients needs
  • Administering and processing, keying Mortgage applications into different lender portals
  • Assisting with the progression of new build purchases, shared ownership, resales and buy to lets from submission to completion.
  • Providing administrative support to financial brokers
  • Proactively progressing mortgage applications through to completion - speaking to clients, lenders and solicitors to complete agreement in principles
  • Assisting the team with other office duties and training new members of staff
  • General insurance & protection administration
  • Keeping CRM system up to date

Candidate criteria:

  • Mortgage experience (intermediary background/knowledge of different lenders and their criteria)
  • Strong organisation and administration
  • Time management/able to multi-task
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Good communicator/professional telephone manner
  • Friendly team player

Additional information:

  • Monday to Friday, 9-5.30
  • Office based, London, City
  • Salary: £30-35,000
  • 20 days holiday + birthday, rising to 25 days
