Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and CII diploma qualified experienced/ senior Paraplanner (min of 2 yrs experience) to join our successful and growing firm.

Those who have experience on the job and close to being diploma qualified may also apply. CII qualifications also preferable to CISI.

The ideal candidate will support our financial adviser principal and newly appointed advisers in delivering high-quality advice and services to our clients.

  • Fully diploma qualified, may be chartered
  • Need experience in pensions, ISA, Investment bonds UK and international, EIS, VCT, Business relief, protection including WOL, excess income plans and trust planning/gifting.
  • Simply put we expect a senior paraplanner to have experience in all areas.
  • Good working relationships with the adviser.
  • Ability to make planning suggestions to the adviser helps.
  • Someone who is currently in the role is important as they will be up to speed with recent developments such as consumer duty.
  • All these experiences help to achieve the senior level salary and benefits.

Duties

  • Assist in preparing financial plans and reports for clients
  • Liaise with clients and their ceding schemes to gather necessary information to fulfil their goals and solutions.
  • Work with other administrative members.
  • Analyse client data and financial statements

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial information
  • Excellent time management abilities to meet deadlines
  • Outstanding communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues effectively.
  • Good at creating strong good bonds with their colleagues.
  • Efficient worker always looking to improve our processes in a collegiate manner with our team.

  • Knowledge of financial planning principles and customer service best practices
  • The latter end of the pay spectrum is for the more senior, so most likely 4 years plus.
