A prominent investment management company responsible for close to £50BN of client assets is seeking to recruit a high quality Paraplanner to help provide technical support to their team of Wealth Planners.

About the Role:

As a Paraplanner within the Private Client team based in London, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional client experiences. Working alongside a dedicated team of Planners, Paraplanners, and Wealth Administrators, you'll be responsible for providing technical research services to support the planning process. Your expertise will ensure the preparation of client advice is of the highest quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical research to support Planners
  • Ensure the preparation of client advice meets the highest standards
  • Collaborate with operational and client-facing departments
  • Answer technical queries on tax, legislation, and financial products
  • Prepare Voyant cash flow forecasts to demonstrate clients' financial plans
  • Support and coach Paraplanners and Wealth Administrators
  • Foster a positive team culture and contribute to personal development

Core Skills and Knowledge:

  • Extensive financial services industry experience
  • CII Level 6 Chartered status or working towards it
  • Previous experience in an IFA or Wealth Management company
  • In-depth knowledge of paraplanning and client support processes
  • Familiarity with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of in-house systems (e.g., Xplan, Fiscal, Pulse, Workflow) is desirable
  • Ability to manage tasks, delegate effectively, and collaborate with others
