Are you a sophisticated, hardworking, and motivated Paraplanner looking to step up into a high-level wealth planning role? This is a rare opportunity to join a leading, global wealth and asset management firm, working with ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) international private clients and institutions.

This role sits within a specialist team managing £1.5-2 billion in client funds, with individual clients typically having a minimum of £3M in investable assets (ranging up to £50M+). Unlike traditional financial planning roles, this position has a strong investment bias with minimal pensions, protection, or mortgage work. The successful candidate will work closely with the Wealth Planning team to provide technical expertise, ensure compliance, and interact directly with clients at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting advisors by preparing detailed financial planning reports and recommendations
  • Acting as the main point of contact for technical queries from clients and third parties
  • Ensuring all wealth planning advice is clear, compliant, and well-documented
  • Utilising financial planning tools, financial modelling, and back-office software
  • Engaging in regular client interactions, developing strong professional relationships

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Level 4 Diploma (or higher) - with a strong desire to achieve Chartered/Certified Financial Planner status
  • 2-4+ years' experience in a Paraplanning role within a wealth management or financial planning firm
  • Strong technical knowledge across all areas of financial planning and compliance
  • Experience in report writing and financial modelling
  • A professional, confident communicator who is comfortable interacting with high-net-worth clients
  • Highly motivated with a keen interest in complex international wealth planning
