Key ResponsibilitiesThe Paraplanner will play a key role in supporting financial planners, ensuring that clients receive high-quality and compliant financial advice. Key responsibilities include:

Supporting Financial Planners: Assisting in completing non-client-facing tasks related to financial recommendations.

Client Analysis: Reviewing fact finds, meeting notes, and existing client records to assess needs and objectives.

Research & Recommendations: Conducting thorough research and preparing tailored financial planning solutions.

Financial Plans & Reports: Collaborating with financial planners to construct high-quality financial plans aligned with client goals.

Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensuring client files meet compliance standards and all recommendations adhere to regulations.

Cashflow Modelling: Preparing lifetime cashflow models to support holistic financial planning.

Client Queries & Meeting Support: Handling client queries and assisting financial planners in meetings by preparing reports and taking notes.

Team Collaboration: Working closely with financial planners, administrators, and compliance teams to deliver seamless client service.
The ideal candidate should have:

At least two years of experience as a paraplanner, writing suitability reports

Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or working towards it).

Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, IHT planning, and protection solutions.

A solid understanding of UK financial regulations and compliance requirements.

Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills.

Proficiency in financial planning software and Microsoft Office.
