This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner to work in a professional and client-focused environment. With continuous growth, the firm is looking for a skilled individual to enhance its financial planning team.

Key Responsibilities

The Paraplanner will play a key role in supporting financial planners, ensuring that clients receive high-quality and compliant financial advice. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Financial Planners: Assisting in completing non-client-facing tasks related to financial recommendations.

  • Client Analysis: Reviewing fact finds, meeting notes, and existing client records to assess needs and objectives.

  • Research & Recommendations: Conducting thorough research and preparing tailored financial planning solutions.

  • Financial Plans & Reports: Collaborating with financial planners to construct high-quality financial plans aligned with client goals.

  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensuring client files meet compliance standards and all recommendations adhere to regulations.

  • Cashflow Modelling: Preparing lifetime cashflow models to support holistic financial planning.

  • Client Queries & Meeting Support: Handling client queries and assisting financial planners in meetings by preparing reports and taking notes.

  • Team Collaboration: Working closely with financial planners, administrators, and compliance teams to deliver seamless client service.

Who Should Apply?

The ideal candidate should have:

  • At least two years of experience as a paraplanner, writing suitability reports 

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or working towards it).

  • Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, IHT planning, and protection solutions.

  • A solid understanding of UK financial regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in financial planning software and Microsoft Office.

  • A team player mentality with a commitment to delivering positive client outcomes.
