About the Role:

As a Paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting financial planners by conducting research, preparing recommendations, and producing suitability reports. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional client service, ensuring financial plans are tailored to meet each client’s individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver high-quality client reports, cash flow plans, and annual reviews, ensuring all relevant data is collated.
  • Provide top-level administrative support to wealth managers and collaborate with branch administration.
  • Assist in researching and assessing investment funds, ensuring client portfolios align with chosen mandates.
  • Maintain and update client records, conduct product-based research, and develop technical support processes.
  • Attend client meetings (in-person or remote) and liaise with third parties as required.
  • Generate key performance reports and engage in ongoing professional development.
  • Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations, AML laws, and internal policies, regularly updating Paraplanning templates in line with legislative changes.
  • Carry out additional duties to support the efficient running of the wealth management firm.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A minimum of 4 years in a paraplanning or senior financial administration role.
  • Diploma Level 4
  • Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and excellent written English.
  • Personable, proactive, and a true team player who enjoys working in a close-knit environment.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Articulate and detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills
  • Proactive with suggestions for improving our current financial planning and investment proposition
