The Role:
As a Paraplanner in this dynamic firm, you will play a crucial role in supporting financial advisers in delivering exceptional advice. You will work closely with clients, assess their financial goals, and create detailed reports to inform the recommendations made by advisers. Your input will be essential in ensuring compliance, regulatory standards, and that clients receive accurate, thorough advice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive technical support to financial advisers, including preparing suitability reports, investment recommendations, and pension reviews.

  • Assist in gathering client data and financial information to prepare for meetings and ensure the delivery of tailored advice.

  • Conduct detailed research into products, market trends, and regulatory changes.

  • Assist in the preparation of client presentations and correspondence.

  • Support the compliance function by ensuring that all recommendations and documentation meet regulatory standards.

  • Liaise with clients directly, answering queries and maintaining strong client relationships.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and records.

  • Develop and maintain expertise in financial products, services, and relevant regulations.

What Were Looking For:

  • A strong background in financial services, ideally with experience as a paraplanner or in a similar support role.

  • Excellent technical knowledge of pensions, investments, tax, and financial planning.

  • The ability to prepare clear and detailed suitability reports and provide effective solutions to clients financial needs.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.

  • Ideally, progress towards or attainment of professional qualifications (e.g., Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning).
