Paraplanner Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Paraplanner Manager to join a leading Wealth Management business. Our client is an established Wealth Manager with an excellent reputation in the UK. The role offers hybrid working, based primarily in London, with occasional travel to other offices.

Role Overview: As the Paraplanner Manager, you will lead and manage a team of paraplanners across multiple offices, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical financial planning support to advisors and high-net-worth clients. This is a leadership role combining technical oversight, team management, and close collaboration with advisors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and oversee the paraplanning team located in London and other offices, fostering collaboration and high performance.
  • Technical Oversight: Review and approve financial planning recommendations, with a focus on pensions, investments, and compliance standards.
  • Advisor Collaboration: Work closely with Financial Planners to align team output with client and business requirements.
  • Travel Requirements: Weekly travel to other offices in the UK.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum Level 4 qualification in financial planning; chartered status or is highly desirable.
  • Significant experience in financial planning, particularly in defined benefit transfers.
  • Proven track record in managing and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of technical financial planning principles and regulatory requirements.
