Our client is a leading global private bank with a strong international presence. For this exciting new role, we are seeking a highly motivated and client-oriented Private Banking Support Officer to join their dynamic team in London. In this role, you will provide essential support to Relationship Managers and their clients, ensuring seamless and efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities of the Private Banking Support:
- Client Service:
- Act as the first point of contact for client inquiries, providing timely and accurate information on account balances, transactions, and banking products.
- Assist with client requests, including but not limited to:
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating client meetings.
- Preparing client presentations and reports.
- Processing client instructions (e.g., transfers, payments, foreign exchange transactions).
- Assisting with onboarding new clients.
- Operational Support:
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal procedures.
- Assist with the preparation of client documentation and regulatory filings.
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g., operations, compliance, legal) to resolve client issues and ensure smooth service delivery.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential client service issues.
- Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Proactively seek opportunities to enhance client service and operational efficiency.
Requirements for the successful Private Banking Support:
- Proven experience in a client-facing role within the financial services industry (private banking, wealth management, or related field) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of private banking products and services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with banking systems and CRM platforms is a plus.
- A proactive and client-centric approach with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service.
