Financial Planner - Boutique HNW Firm | Mayfair (Hybrid) | £80k-£120k + Bonus

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a highly capable and client-focused Financial Planner to join a boutique, high-net-worth wealth management firm based in Mayfair. This firm offers a rare combination of independence, flexibility, and true long-term client partnership.

The Opportunity:

This is a genuinely client-centric firm with no sales targets, focusing instead on delivering considered, holistic advice to HNW individuals, families, and trustees. You’ll be joining a small, experienced team providing integrated financial planning and discretionary investment advice.

The Clients:

Clients typically have a minimum of £1MAUM, with many relationships well in excess of £10M-£25M. The firm specialises in high-touch, long-term advice spanning investments, pensions, estate and IHT planning, and intergenerational wealth structuring.

There are no relationship managers- clients have direct access to both investment and planning professionals, creating deep, trusted partnerships.

Why Apply?

  • Salary:£80,000 -£120,000 (DOE & qualifications)
  • Bonus: Tied to firm-wide growth - e.g. 20% growth = 20% of your base salary
  • Hybrid working: Flexibility to suit the individual - outcome-focused, not clock-watching
  • Independent & fee-based: Directly authorised by the FCA
  • No sales targets: This is not a sales-driven environment - your success is measured by trust, client outcomes, and quality of advice

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Diploma qualified (Chartered advantageous but not essential)
  • Technically capable and emotionally intelligent
  • Able to inspire confidence and build rapport with HNW/UHNW clients
  • A strong academic background is preferred (e.g., degree from a reputable university)
  • A good listener - someone who takes the time to understand before advising

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver strategic financial planning to a sophisticated client base, covering tax, pensions, investments, and estate planning
  • Maintain and deepen long-term client relationships
  • Engage in thoughtful, reputation-based business development (not transactional sales)
  • Collaborate with in-house tax and investment professionals for fully joined-up client advice
  • Contribute to the continued refinement of the client proposition and overall firm strategy

If you're an experienced planner seeking a high-trust environment where quality advice trumps sales quotas, this is a rare and exciting opportunity.
