Role Overview

As a Trainee Financial Planner, you will work closely with senior advisors, gaining hands-on experience in delivering bespoke financial advice to UHNW clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to transition into a full advisory position within a structured and supportive framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Senior Financial Planners to develop and present bespoke financial plans for UHNW clients.
  • Attend and contribute to client meetings, building strong relationships with clients and understanding their complex needs.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, cash flow modelling, and portfolio reviews to support high-quality advice.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial products, tax regulations, and industry developments.
  • Work seamlessly with internal teams to ensure the highest level of client service.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 3+ years in a Paraplanning role, ideally within an IFA or Financial Planning environment, with exposure to UHNW clients.
  • Qualifications: Chartered or near-Chartered status (DipPFS or Advanced Diploma as a minimum).
  • Academic Excellence: Strong academic background with a degree (1st Class or 2:1) in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric mindset.
