Role Overview
As a Trainee Financial Planner, you will work closely with senior advisors, gaining hands-on experience in delivering bespoke financial advice to UHNW clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to transition into a full advisory position within a structured and supportive framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Senior Financial Planners to develop and present bespoke financial plans for UHNW clients.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings, building strong relationships with clients and understanding their complex needs.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, cash flow modelling, and portfolio reviews to support high-quality advice.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial products, tax regulations, and industry developments.
- Work seamlessly with internal teams to ensure the highest level of client service.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 3+ years in a Paraplanning role, ideally within an IFA or Financial Planning environment, with exposure to UHNW clients.
- Qualifications: Chartered or near-Chartered status (DipPFS or Advanced Diploma as a minimum).
- Academic Excellence: Strong academic background with a degree (1st Class or 2:1) in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric mindset.
- Ambition: A desire to step into an advisory role within 12-24 months and build a successful career in financial planning.
