Oliver James are pleased to be working a reputable and well established pensions consultancy seeking a qualified pensions actuary to join them as an Associate Director within their Pension Risk Transfer team. This role can be based from any of their UK offices, with a working pattern to suit individual requirements.

You will work on buy-ins and buyouts, longevity swaps, superfunds and third-party capital transactions and will consider how these solutions fit with the schemes journey plans. You'll then run the provider selection process, including bidding rounds, commercial negotiations and beauty parades.

Role requirements:

  • FIA qualified with post qual experience
  • Experience in pensions risk transfer activities from within consultancy or BPA providers
  • Proven delegation skills and a desire to coach and mentor more junior pensions actuaries
