New urgent role working in South London for a major UK developer on a 6 month contract.

We need an experienced Finishing Manager to oversee the internal fit-out and quality control of a new-build residential scheme. Applicants ideally would have come from an internal trades background and able to interview/start immediately.

You'll be:

  • Managing internal fit-out packages, ensuring efficient and seamless construction.
  • Ensure the quality of works completed on site are to standard/spec
  • Overseeing contractors and sub-contractors, fostering strong relationships and clear communication.
  • Ensuring adherence to building regulations and safety procedures, creating a safe work environment.
  • Proactively managing risks, implementing solutions to minimise delays and ensure project success.
  • Reporting project progress and key decisions, ensuring transparency.

Requirements

  • CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
  • Background working for residential developers on new build schemes
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, technical specifications, and building regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality.
