  • Our client, an international food trading commodity company, is looking for a part-time Food Quality Administrator in NW London. The position requires 2-3 days of work per week, with a few extra hours in November, and offers a salary of £30,000 to £35,000 per annum. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in food quality and safety management. Responsibilities include managing external requests for information, maintaining quality management systems, and supporting supplier approvals and audits. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of food quality regulations, HACCP, and GSFI certified environments.

Our client an international food Trading Commodity company is seeking an experienced part-time Food Quality Administrator for their office in NW London. Specialising with edible nuts and dried fruit commodities and is committed to providing products specifically suited to processors, packers, industrial, confectionery, bakery and snack food companies. You will be working closely with the Quality and Food Safety Manager to help keep the company running as per BRCGS requirements on a daily basis. This will be 2-3 days per week, hours to suit, with a few additional hours in November. The main duties:

  • Management of quality and food safety related External Requests for Information.
  • Management of quality and food safety external documents including specifications, questionnaires and certificates.
  • Management of counterparty contact details in the company system.
  • Support on maintaining the BRC Certified Quality Management System.
  • Support on Food Law database management.
  • Support on supplier approvals, audits and assessment.
  • Sample log - incoming and outgoing

The successful candidate will be strategic and solution orientated thinker with good organisational skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.Must be analytical and be able to pay attention to detail with medium to advanced Excel. An understanding of Incoterms. Good understanding of Food Quality regulations and an understanding of HACCP and GSFI Certified environment. An additional European language will be an advantage.
