Job Title: QA Manager- FOOD INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL

Location: North West London

*No sponsorship available*

I am recruiting on behalf of a leading player in the food manufacturing industry, committed to delivering high-quality products while offering a supportive working environment.

Looking to speak to QA Managers from, ideally, a chilled background, however don't let that put you off applying. If you have worked with the main players in the retailer world then we still should speak.

Day to day will typically vary but see you responsible for ensuring that all customer, legal, and safety standards are met and maintained. The role involves driving improvements in GMP audits, managing food safety systems, and directly leading a team of 4 in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, with a team of around 10 indirectly reporting to you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with customer, BRC, and legal requirements.
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of HACCP and other relevant food safety standards.
  • Oversee an effective audit system for food safety, legality, and quality compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers/customers to ensure all technical requirements are met.
  • Act as a deputy for the Technical Manager when required.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the QA team, driving continuous improvement and fostering a quality-focused culture.
  • Analyse audit and performance data to identify trends and implement preventative measures.
  • Ensure the QA team operates in a safe working environment in line with Health & Safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar Technical or QA Manager role within a food manufacturing environment. You will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to inspire and drive a culture of quality. Experience with HACCP, GMP audits, and quality management systems is essential.
