Temporary but full time and long term role (minimum until December 2024)
Central London, Mayfair location.
Rota: Tuesday till Friday 5am-2pm
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Executive Head Chef with preparation of hot and cold food for breakfast service to the highest standard ? Running sections of the kitchen during service
- Ensuring a consistently high level of food service at all times through knowledge of menu items and awareness of commodities used, preparation, methods and cooking
- Assisting as necessary with stock control and identifying methods for improving food service
- Ensuring kitchen areas and equipment are cleaned and relevant health and hygiene procedures are followed at all times
The following key criteria and skills are required for this role:
- Experience of working in a similar role within a high quality establishment and ability to produce quality food to the highest standard
- Ability to run and maintain breakfast service
- Current certificate in Basic Food Preparation, Health and Hygiene or similar
- Excellent communication skills
- Driven with a passion for food and quality produce
- Creative with a meticulous eye for detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment and maintain a consistently high standard of food delivery under pressure
- Positive and flexible approach to work
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United Kingdom
