Job Summary

To transport large machinery from and to containers.

Hourly rate:

£13.00ph - £16.00ph

Hours of work:
08.30 - 16.30

Key

  • Transport large machinery from containers to the factory floor
  • Remove all packaging from machine to ensure it is ready for the next stage in production
  • Transport finished product to designated areas within the factory and store safety until needed for the next stage of production
  • Ensure all transportation of product is actioned in a safe manner following Company Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Ensure the safe loading and off-loading of vehicles collecting and delivering to and from the production department

Essential

  • 2+ years’ previous experience driving a forklift within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using a forklift truck to move heavy, large and awkwardly shaped components.
  • Forklift license counterbalance B2
  • Experience having the ability to work under your own initiative
  • Work as a team player to achieve customer quality, delivery and cost requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations when operating a forklift

Must be available to start on 04 Novemer 2024.
