Equity/Derivatives Trade Support

Role: Equity/Derivatives Trade Support

Location: London, full time one site then hybrid 3 days per week

Duration: 6-months

Rate: Paid via umbrella

As part of the Equity Swaps Trade (ESSL) Control team, you will play a vital role in providing support and control across various trading desks within the equities division, including Flow, Yield Enhancement, and Delta 1 desks in London and Paris. You'll also work across structured and exotic products, making this an exciting and varied role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage lifecycle events on swaps
• Handle corporate action events (elections & bookings)
• Reconcile single stock and index dividends against hedges
• Monitor rate & price fixings
• Manage dividend payments and foreign exchange (FX) processes
• Investigate P&L discrepancies and provide query resolution
• Implement robust operation controls to monitor and mitigate risk
• Deliver enhanced client-facing swap support (FTS)
• Perform inter-system reconciliations
• Lead project enhancements outside day-to-day tasks, always seeking process improvements
• Collaborate closely with Tech, Front Office (FO), Back Office (BO), and other stakeholders to build strong, effective working relationships.

What we're looking for:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Previous experience in financial services, particularly equity swaps or related products, is a plus
• A proactive approach to continuous process improvement and cross-functional collaboration
