Are you an experienced Marine Cargo Insurance Technician with a deep understanding of the London Market? The client, a leading International broker, is looking for a skilled professional to join their global Marine Cargo division. This role offers the opportunity to handle a diverse portfolio of business worldwide, providing technical support and expertise across multiple regions with no set territories.

The Opportunity

As a Marine Cargo Insurance Technician, you will play a crucial role in the technical handling of insurance processes, supporting an experienced broking team. The position offers the chance to work on a variety of international accounts, providing technical and administrative support in a challenging yet rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and issuing slips, MRCs, endorsements, and other technical documentation.
  • Navigating the London Market process with ease, including using platforms such as PPL.
  • Liaising with brokers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient processing of policies and endorsements.
  • Ensuring accuracy in all documentation and maintaining compliance with market standards and regulations.
  • Providing technical support across a diverse global portfolio, with no set territorial boundaries, giving exposure to a wide range of clients and risks.

What’s needed for me to be considered?

  • An established professional with proven experience in Marine Cargo insurance.
  • Strong knowledge of the London Market processes, including creating slips, MRCs, endorsements, and familiarity with platforms like PPL.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to manage technical processes and documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Experience handling diverse global accounts, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work, with strong communication skills to liaise with clients, underwriters, and brokers.
