Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 per annum
We're working on behalf of a local authority in Kensington and Chelsea, West London, who are seeking a skilled and experienced Multi Trade Operative to join their housing estate maintenance team.
This is a static role based on a single housing estate - all properties are within walking distance, so no van or fuel card is required.
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking a wide range of carpentry and multi-trade works including, but not limited to, plumbing, plastering, decorating (both externally and internally) and tiling, using schedule of rates.
- Floor joists, floor boards, stud work, skirting boards, hanging doors and door saddles, installing kitchens, cupboards, shelving, and lock changes.
- Using a PDA to receive instructions, and to feedback electronically details of works undertaken, or works to be undertaken.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Carpentry (desirable)
