Non negotiables for the role:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Experience of teaching children across the primary phase
- Experience of working in an multi-cultural school
- Experience of working with children of varying needs
- Experience of working effectively -within a team, including leading support staff
- Experience of leading a curriculum area (desirable)
- Knowledge of the 2014 National Curriculum requirements across the primary phase
- Knowledge of how to devise an engaging and experiential curriculum.
- Knowledge of a range of assessment procedures, including formative and summative.
