A mainstream primary school in Balham (SW12) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Class Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis (3 days per week) from April 2024. This role involves working in a job share arrangement with another teacher, requiring strong collaboration and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons for year 4 children with a class of 30 pupils.
- Work collaboratively with the job share partner to ensure consistency in teaching and learning.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour management and create a positive classroom environment.
- Differentiate learning to support all abilities, including SEN and EAL students.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and staff.
- Participate in staff meetings, planning, and school events as required.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a UK primary school.
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to engage and inspire pupils.
- A collaborative and adaptable approach to working in a job share role.
- Passion for delivering high-quality education and promoting a positive learning environment.
- Experience planning and differentiating for diverse learning needs.
