We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join the nursery team at a primary school we are currently working with located in the heart of Ealing. The school is known for its excellent reputation, having been rated Ofsted 'Good'.
As an Early Years Practitioner in our nursery, you’ll be instrumental in supporting the early development of children in their first few years, ensuring they reach their full potential in both their academic and social growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children’s learning and development: Assist in delivering creative and engaging activities that align with the EYFS framework, supporting children’s growth in key areas such as literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
- Provide high-quality care: Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment where children feel secure and valued.
- Build positive relationships: Develop strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative, supportive atmosphere.
- Observe and assess: Monitor children's progress, provide feedback, and help tailor activities to meet individual needs, ensuring every child’s development is supported.
- Encourage inclusive practices: Promote equality and inclusivity within the nursery setting, adapting learning experiences to support the needs of all children, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Work as part of a team: Collaborate with other staff members to create and implement plans, share ideas, and continuously improve the nursery environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in early years education within a nursery setting, with a strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
- A genuine passion for working with young children, with the ability to support their learning, social, and emotional development.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A patient, caring, and adaptable nature, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and education for every child.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
