Early Years Practitioner - Catholic Primary School, Walthamstow

Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a welcoming Catholic Primary School in Waltham Forest, in their search for an experienced Early Years Practitioner to join their team.
About the RoleThis role is a full-time position, running from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only. You will play a key role in fostering a love of learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) by supporting children's academic, emotional, and social development. The role will be working in both he nursery and reception classes within the school.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the planning and delivery of creative and engaging learning activities.
- Supporting the development of children's early literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all pupils.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting a love of learning.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant Early Years qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent).
- Previous experience working within the EYFS.
- A sound understanding of child development and safeguarding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Start DateThis position offers a competitive daily rate of £90-£100, depending on experience. The role is due to commence in December 2024 or January 2025.
