Early Years Practitioners - Transition into Primary School Support Roles

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teachers with classroom activities and the development of pupil's learning.
  • Providing 1:1 or small group support to children who need extra help with their learning.
  • Assisting with classroom management and creating a positive learning environment.
  • Encouraging the social and emotional development of children.
  • Helping with playground duties and supervising students during non-lesson times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a nursery, early years, or childcare setting.
  • A passion for working with children and supporting their development.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A relevant qualification in childcare or early years education is desirable, but not essential.
  • DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is required.
