About Us:

We have partnered with a popular and thriving primary school in Southwark who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years TA to join their team for an ASAP start. The school is committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for their new cohort of children, and I'm looking for individuals who are passionate about EYFS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum.
  • Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Provide one-on-one support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required.
  • Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: CACHE Level 3 in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience working within the EYFS framework.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and its implementation.
  • Desirable: Experience working with children with SEN within an EYFS setting.
