Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher looking to inspire young learners in a nurturing and high-achieving primary school? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hackney is seeking an EYFS/KS1 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a permanent contract.


The Role – EYFS/KS1 Class Teacher
•    Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons that foster a love for learning across EYFS or KS1.
•    Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
•    Use a play-based and hands-on approach to learning, ensuring the needs of all pupils are met, including those with SEND and EAL.
•    Foster strong early literacy and numeracy skills through innovative teaching strategies.
•    Monitor pupil progress closely and use assessment to inform planning, ensuring all children achieve their full potential.
•    Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to create a strong school community.
•    Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development, promoting confidence and independence.


Who We Are Looking For – EYFS/KS1 Class Teacher
•    A qualified teacher (UK QTS) with experience in EYFS and/or KS1. TLR may be available for the right candidate!
•    A passionate and creative teacher who understands how young children learn best and can adapt teaching approach to meet individual needs. 
•    Someone with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework / KS1 curriculum.
•    A nurturing and enthusiastic approach, dedicated to fostering a love of learning.
•    A teacher who can use phonics, play-based learning, and early intervention strategies effectively.
•    A team player who is eager to collaborate and contribute to the wider school community.
