SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a diverse and supportive primary school in the London Borough of Islington. We are seeking an experienced Primary Teacher to join a dynamic and welcoming Year 5 class on a part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Joint planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons for Year 5 pupils.
- Work collaboratively as part of a job share with another teacher to ensure continuity in the classroom.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging all pupils to achieve their best.
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, contributing to their academic and personal development.
- Work closely with the wider school team, including teaching assistants and senior leadership, to support the school's aims and values.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Must have completed ECT years.
- Experience teaching KS2, ideally experience teaching year 5.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a job share role.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
