Year 1 Class Teacher – Ealing – Summer Term Start 

Pertemps Education is seeking a Year 1 Class Teacher to join a friendly and nurturing primary school in Ealing for the summer term and beyond. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and committed teacher to help shape the early learning experiences of young pupils in a well-resourced and supportive environment. 

  • Pay: £190.00–£255.00 per day
  • Location: Ealing 
  • Start date: Summer Term 
  • Interview date: ASAP 

Responsibilities: 

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that support early literacy, numeracy, and phonics in line with the KS1 curriculum. 
  • Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom where pupils feel confident and excited to learn. 
  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN or EAL. 
  • Track and assess student progress using effective formative and summative methods. 
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to promote student well-being and achievement. 
  • Take part in school activities, team meetings, and ongoing professional development. 

Qualifications/Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. 
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. 
  • Experience teaching in KS1. 
  • Strong classroom management and planning skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
  • A warm, enthusiastic approach and a genuine passion for working with young children.
