We are seeking an inspirational and experienced Year 6 Class Teacher to join our vibrant and welcoming faith primary school in Wandsworth, rated Outstanding by Ofsted. This is a fixed-term opportunity starting in January 2025 and continuing through the end of the academic year, August 2025.

The Role:
As the Year 6 Class Teacher, you will be pivotal in preparing students for their KS2 SATs and ensuring they have a smooth transition into secondary education. 


You will be responsible for:
•    Delivering a dynamic and engaging curriculum, with a strong emphasis on core subjects
•    Fostering a love for learning in every child. 


This role requires a candidate who is:
•    Confident in their subject knowledge
•    Has a strong track record of teaching within Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 5 and/or Year 6) in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum, with a focus on KS2 SATs preparation
•    Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
•    Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing targeted support where necessary
•    Maintain strong communication with parents, carers, and colleagues
•    Uphold the values and ethos of the school in all interactions with pupils and the wider community


The Ideal Candidate:
•    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and proven experience teaching Year 6 or Upper Key Stage 2 in a UK primary school
•    Strong knowledge and experience of KS2 SATs and curriculum expectations
•    Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students
•    A passion for teaching and a commitment to raising pupil achievement
•    A collaborative and proactive approach to working with colleagues and parents.
