Hours of work: Monday- Friday as standard however some weekend work may be needed, [40 hrs per week] - Flexible
Holiday entitlement: 28 days [including 8 Standard Bank holidays and 3 to be taken during
the Christmas closure]
Entitlement: Meals on duty. Pension after successful completion of probationary
period. Share of the service charge and staff Christmas fund

Planning and executing events together with the Assistant Manager
Designing event flyers
Managing the newsletter
Social media
Food & Beverage Stock Control
Wine Buying & Maintaining Paid Reserve Levels
Liaison with the Wine Committee
Yearly Beverage Sales Analysis
Regular Chairman's Report on Wine & Beverage Sales
Epos Training & Imputing of Data
Ensuring Members' Bar, Smoking Room, The Salisbury, Dispense Bar, Drawing Room and Churchills
Bar and Terrace are maintained at all times
Oversee fire Safety and Alarm Maintenance
Oversee intruder alarm and security maintenance with maintenance team
Training- internal and external Yearly Training Analysis

Duties, tasks and responsibilities
Together with the Assistant Manager, control of beverage and tobacco ordering, stock levels, daily issues and maintaining the bin book.
Stock control package for food and beverages. Maintain gross profit levels required.
Carry out monthly stock takes in all areas. Compile reports for accounts, outside stock takers and auditors.
Liaise with Wine Committee over wine buying for Paid Reserves, future investments, tastings and regular meetings.
Organise operational side of Club Events.
Maintain the smooth running of the Club, paying particular attention to the: Members Dining Room, Members' Bar, Churchills Bar and Terrace, and all events Rooms.
To be a named key holder and attend site in cases of emergency.
Maintain contracts for fire safety and the Club alarms. Keep alarm company and police updated with key holder details.
Organise training for all employees in line with legislative requirements, company objectives, needs identified in appraisals and for the purpose of multi-skilling. Carry out Foundation
Food Hygiene in-house training for employees unable to complete the Food Alert course.
Carry out full, four weekly inductions for all new employees, incorporating a customer service course. Ensure the two monthly inductions are carried out by HODs.
Ensure a full SOP folder is in place and reviewed when necessary.
Attend weekly management and HOD meetings.
To recruit, train, coach, lead and motivate staff.
To undertake training and qualifications that will benefit the Club.
To meet legislative requirements of fire, health, hygiene, and safety.
Book and monitor any agency staff requirements.
General Duties:
To assist the Club Secretary in the efficient running of the Club, and to give general
assistance with all Front of House operations during lunch service and evening private
functions.
To take over the Assistant Managers responsibilities in their absence.
