.NET Developer (Team Lead) - London / Remote - £90.000 - £100.000+ Per Annum + Benefits & Bonus

Eames Consulting is working with a Financial services company to secure the services of a .Net Developer (Team Lead) on a permanent basis.

We are looking for a talented and experienced .Net Team Lead to join our growing team in the Financial Services sector. As an Engineering Team Lead, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality software solutions that power critical financial applications. You will lead a team of developers, driving technical excellence, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of engineers to ensure high levels of productivity, collaboration, and technical excellence.
  • Organize and manage the work of the team, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Collaborate with the product owner, architects, and other stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and requirements.
  • Design, develop, and implement .NET-based applications and services, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.
  • Set technical direction for the team, promoting the adoption of best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate with other platforms and systems as needed.
  • Champion Agile and Scrum methodologies, ensuring the team operates in an iterative and efficient manner.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET, with extensive experience in building scalable and maintainable applications.
  • Experience in building event driven microservice architectures on the Kubernetes platform using messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Kafka.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React).
  • Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
  • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit, MSTest, xUnit) and test-driven development (TDD).
  • Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
  • Proven experience leading a nearshore/offshore software development team, with a strong track record of delivering successful projects.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role.
