ASEND are looking for an enthusiastic ABA Tutor to support a 13 year old pupil at school and at his home in Clapham on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The pupil requires support for 8 hours each day. He is autistic and also has a diagnosis of Dyscalculia. The ideal candidate will have an upbeat, bubbly personality and will be exceptionally motivated to make a difference in his learning. They will also be working as part of a team with other tutors, so they will need to have strong communication skills and will need to work well in a team as well as independently. This role has a minimum commitment of 1 year and the start date is ASAP.

Requirements

  • Experience providing support to teenagers with special educational needs.

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • Strong understanding of positive behavioural support and Applied Behaviour Analaysis (ABA)

  • At least 1 year of ABA experience.
