About the Role
The role is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a highly respected Lloyd’s Broker in their expanding Risk Solutions Division.
They are looking for someone to join as an Account Handler to focus on North American Property business.
Ke Responsibilities
- Co-ordinates placement of risks, including production of documentation and maintenance throughout the risk life cycle (Underwriting Submissions, Market Reform Contracts, Wordings, Endorsements)
- Develop and maintain an active role/relationship with clients
- Demonstrate excellent technical knowledge and ability to communicate this to various audiences (Insureds, Retailers, Wholesalers, Internal and Underwriters)
- Ensure that accounts are serviced efficiently and professionally - creates MRC slips, Invoices and Underwriter submissions; deals with slip endorsements; maintaining all electronic files and compliance related checks
- Monitor and maintain workflow, budgetary records, debit notes and policy wordings
- Operate a paperless filing system
- Work with the Brokers to identify and qualify opportunities for business development
- Maintains up-to-date working knowledge of regulatory requirements (Contract Certainty, LMBS, FCA and International requirements)
- Enable and encourage interaction and collaboration with other divisional units
Key Skills & Experience
The client is seeking someone that has experience related to market/underwriter presentations, slip production, endorsements, tax schedules plus supporting brokers in servicing clients’ requirements and use of PPL.

The candidate should have excellent persuasive, influencing and communication skills. They should possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to plan meticulously whilst anticipating problems in advance and making contingencies being proactive, always looking for ways of delivering a better or more efficient service.
