Account Handler (Contingency / Non-Appearance - Music & Events)
London / Hybrid - 2 days in the office a week min requirement
A dynamic, leading and well-established International Lloyd's Broker, who have a solid reputation within the London Market Insurance. With offices across the world and in the UK, you will be based within their London office, in the heart of the City and will be based within their thriving Contingency Team , focused on the placement of Non-Appearance Risks within the Music, Artists and Events Sector.
Your new position, as an Account Handler, will involve managing Client/Retail Broker accounts, working with Brokers, Client and Underwriter inquiries, as well as producing client and market documentation for the placement of risks.
The Role
- Handling Contingency (Non-Appearance) and Personal Accident Risks for Clients and Retail Broker partners
- Working collaboratively with Brokers to assist with the smooth placement of risks
- Effective and timely communication with all clients, delivering an exceptional customer service
- Prepare timely and accurate presentations, renewal reports and other market and client documents
- Creating MRC Slips and Endorsements for the placement of risks
- Assist with development opportunities
- Invite renewals expediently to assist in achieving maximum retention
- Liaising with markets and insurers
About You
- You will have 3 years + experience in working for a Lloyd's Broker within an Account Handling or Technical position
- You will have experience in creating or reviewing MRC Slips and Endorsements
- Having experience in Contingency or Personal Accident isn't essential - My Client is open on your business class experience
- Excellent communication and attention to detail skills with a 'cando' attitude
