A Spanish Speaking Accountant is required for our client based in London for a FTC of 1 year. This is a hybrid role and very flexible. The successful candidate will be working for a leading global supplier of Ingredients for the Food, Beverage and Nutrition industries. You will be responsible for the Book-Keeping and Financial Reporting for their Spanish office and this will include preparation of VAT, Instrastat and SII reporting. This opportunity requires an experienced candidate with an Accounting background, high attention to detail and have excellent problem solving abilities. The main duties will be:
路 Allocating bank transactions for PSP.路 Following up overdue sales invoices for PSP.路 Releasing PSP overdue or over limit sales invoices.路 Making any contract change requested by the Spanish team.路 SII reporting every 4 days.路 Intercompany cash transfers路 Preparing all the information needed for the local accountant.路 Preparing VAT and Intrastat report for PSP.路 Payroll and expenses journals for PSP.路 Posting accruals, prepayments, journals, and rebates for PSP.路 Bank reconciliation for PSP.Must be ACCA Qualified or equivalent and speak fluent Spanish and English. Have excellent analytical skills and knowledge of Audits, month and close procedures and reporting. Must also be able to communicate effectively and be organised and methodical.
