We have an urgent requirement for an experienced environmental acoustician to join a well established, independent multidisciplinary consultancy in London. They are currently involved in a considerable amount of diverse projects and due to this organic growth they require assistance from a commercially aware individual with prior consultancy experience in the environmental noise and vibration field. The company looking to recruit is made up of a group of architects, acousticians and construction technology consultants. Acoustic Consultancy forms an integral part of the practice's work with specific expertise in Environmental and Architectural acoustics in addition to Electro-acoustic design and building services noise. Qualifications Recognised Acoustic technical qualification at degree level or equivalent Experience Post graduate Environmental Acoustic Consultancy experience of 3 years+ Extensive and detailed understanding of Environmental Acoustics. Familiarity in using noise monitoring equipment. Experience of Noise Modeling using a recognized software package. A team-player who is able to successfully motivate Ideally experience within the aviation industry - Airport Developments Duties Carry out Environmental Impact Assessments Manage noise issues related to the planning process Summarise data interpretations and provide conclusions Work as a team member and assist in projects and finances on a number of large developments Contribute to group expansion and develop and maintain business negotiation of new business, Undertake environmental noise and vibration surveys and assessments, Submitting proposals to clients Preparation of high quality reports and specifications Project and client meetings Consulting during the initial project design stages; communicating with regulatory authorities, stakeholders, and the communities Assisting with environmental approvals and permits Developing and implementing environmental management plans Projects Our client currently provides comprehensive services for clients both in the public and private sectors within the divisions of transportation, buildings (theatres, concert halls, performing arts centres, broadcasting studios etc) and environmental with current emphasis aircraft noise.
