Our Client, a largely established engineering consulting business with multidisciplinary expertise across a diverse range of environmental engineering fields and offices spanning the UK and overseas currently has a requirement for an Acoustic Consultant to join their office in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Acoustic Consultant with a leaning towards building acoustics and experience ideally in the buildings sector to rapidly develop their skills within a well developed team. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of major projects in government buildings, places of worship, listed building refurbishments, universities and large scale industrial facilities.



Qualifications:
Qualified to BEng/BSc level or equivalent
IOA Membership
Full driving license

Experience
Thorough understanding of noise and vibration principles, current standards,
guidance and best practice.
Proven track record of business development.
Ability to demonstrate effective project and people management.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, self motivation, organised and an
aptitude to advise team members from other professions/technical backgrounds.
Technically competent and IT proficient.

Duties
Overall project management responsibilities for projects of various sizes.
Noise Impact Assessments and Vibration Assessments.
Construction and Demolition Noise Monitoring and Control.
Provide advice on Sound Insulation and Architectural Acoustic Design.
Assessments for residential developments.
Proven technical ability in terms of problem solving and analytical thinking.
Ability to manage time, resources and projects effectively.
Develop and secure new business, negotiating with clients and contractors to develop existing relationships and to forge new business relationships

Education, residential, religious buildings, nightclubs, healthcare, research and development laboratories and more!
