Acoustic Consultant:

My client is a reputable acoustics consultancy based in London, specialising in providing a comprehensive range of noise and vibration services. These services encompass Noise Impact Assessments, Acoustic Advice, Architectural Designs, Planning, and Mapping and have been instrumental in a wide array of domestic projects in the United Kingdom.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Acoustics or a relevant subject and/or with the IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience with using acoustic software such as ODEON, INSUL, and CaDnaA
  • Full UK driver's licence
  • Strong technical background in Building and Environmental acoustics
  • Working knowledge of legislation and guidelines relevant to the acoustic industry

Responsibilities:

  • Manage junior team members onsite and throughout the life cycle of a project to ensure work is meeting a high standard.
  • Take a hands-on approach to ensure that workload is fully managed in an efficient manner
  • Undertake onsite assessments to mitigate any inefficiencies evident from testing and survey work and ensure that remedial advice is provided to ensure compliance with British Standards and key UK regulations.
