Acoustic Consultant:

Location: London

My client specialises in offering expertise in acoustic regulations and compliance, delivering customised solutions for a wide range of complex projects in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. They excel in providing tailored acoustic solutions to address the specific requirements of each project.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Acoustics or a related field, along with an IOA Diploma
  • Accreditation in AMIOA/MIOA
  • Demonstrated success in project management in collaboration with key stakeholders throughout the development life cycle
  • Previous experience in environmental acoustics, noise surveys, and report preparation
  • Proficiency in managing technical issues that may arise during assessments

Responsibilities:

  • Adjust project plans and designs to ensure alignment with client specifications and statutory guidance
  • Conduct regular noise and vibration inspections to ensure compliance with British standards and building regulations at all project stages
  • Perform regular environmental noise surveys and conduct necessary calculations
  • Provide clients with expert guidance and remedial advice to prevent technical issues that could affect project completion and timelines
