Admin & Accounts Assistant Based in London, Monday to Friday, £27k, 23 days paid holiday, plus Bank HolidaysA prestigious legal firm are looking for an Admin and Accounts Assistant to support their team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and willing to support other tasks as needed to contribute to the broader team's success. This role will involve splitting your time to support the Administrative team and the Accounts team.Main Duties and Responsibilities - Diary management- Providing immaculate service when meeting and greeting visitors - Manage enquiries regarding archived files, deeds, and wills - Manage hand deliveries, collections and arrange couriers as needed- Oversee the firm's online banking - Post Disbursements such as Land Registry, Property Searches, and Court fees- Provide support with Credit Control duties when necessary- Address general account queries raised by fee-earners- Handle petty cash- Perform photocopying, scanning, binding, and printing tasks, ensuring accurate labelling and filing of documents in the DPS systemThe Ideal Candidate - A minimum 2 years of experience working within a Legal Accounts department - Excellent communication skills - Flexible work approach - Strong mathematical and IT skills - A good understanding of legal accounts and the SRA accounting rules- Attention to detail - Highly organised and able to manage their own workload on a day-to-day basis
