Hours: Monday-Friday: 8.00am – 2.00pm – Term time plus 1 Week during summer holidays (40 Weeks) + 7 weeks’ holiday (including bank holidays)

The Governors of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Infant School are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Administrative Officer/PA to manage our Front Office to commence in September 2024

The School: 

Our Lady of Grace is a successful, welcoming 2 form entry Infant School in the London Borough of Brent with a strong and supportive staff team. We are part of the All Saints Trust, a multi-academy trust in the Diocese of Westminster. The School was graded as Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted in our most recent inspection in December 2023 and graded Outstanding in our Section 48 RE Inspection in May 2023.  

The Post: 

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Manage an effectively functioning School Office
  • Manage the confidential database for pupils and staff (SIMS) and Parentpay
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Headteacher, SLT and SBM
  • Fully monitor and produce high level reports to the Headteacher regarding attendance
  • Able to contribute to the overall ethos, work and aims of the school

The Person: 

The successful candidate will be: 

  • Enthusiastic with a committed attitude, flexibility and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in working in a school office in an administrative/PA role.
  • Able to communicate and deal with staff/parents/visitors’ queries effectively.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent administrative and ICT skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Experience in SIMS, Parentpay, MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Able to ensure school compliance with safeguarding and statutory requirements.
  • Committed to join our conscientious school team.
  • Able to take on varied tasks, within the daily operations of the school admin office, as well as providing administrative support to the school.
  • Able to work as part of a team that is committed, aligned and passionate about our school community.
  • Able to Contribute to the overall ethos, work and aims of the school
