My client is seeking an Admissions Manager to handle all aspects of the admissions process, from initial enquiries through to enrolment. This role is perfect for someone who wants to be actively involved in a professional and busy school community. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, proficiency in data handling, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Liaise with the Head of Admissions regarding prospective pupils.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date pupil data on the admissions register.
- Arrange and coordinate visits for prospective parents and pupils.
- Request references/reports from existing schools to pass to the Head of Admissions.
- Produce regular reports concerning applicants and numbers.
- Oversee the arrival and welcome of new parents and pupils, providing them with all necessary information (handbooks, uniform lists, fee information, etc.) prior to their child joining the school.
- Maintain up-to-date records of pupils who are leaving and ensure the necessary pupil data is sent to relevant parties when a pupil transfers to another institution.
- Attend all school open houses and events, which may include evenings and weekends.
- Work alongside the Marketing Department to assist with the effective marketing of the school.
- Develop a good understanding of competitor schools and educational opportunities within the local area.
- Perform any other reasonable tasks to support the Admissions and Marketing teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience and excellent organisational skills in an administrative role.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Basic understanding of Marketing.
- Understanding of the Admissions process and preferably experience in pupil recruitment.
- Experience of working within the education sector.
- Experience with ISAMs and Salesforce preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, organised, and motivated disposition.
