AEM Architect - Banking - London/Hybrid

My Banking client is looking for an AEM Architect, they will be responsible for designing and implementing robust Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions while providing strategic guidance on Workfront usage to optimize workflows. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across Adobe products such as AEM Sites, DAM, Workfront, Analytics, and Target. Your role will combine both technical and functional expertise to enhance operational efficiency and improve the overall digital experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. AEM Architecture & Implementation:
    • Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performing solutions using AEM Sites and AEM Assets (DAM).
    • Provide architectural guidance and best practices for integrating AEM with other components of the Adobe Experience Cloud stack, such as Workfront, Analytics, and Target.
    • Ensure efficient content management workflows, personalization, and data-driven decision-making across the platform.
  2. Workfront Expertise:
    • Act as the Workfront subject matter expert, understanding the product from both a technical and functional perspective.
    • Analyze current workflows and processes, providing recommendations to optimize usage and increase operational efficiency within Workfront.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and suggest improvements to Workfront configurations, task management, reporting, and project automation.
    • Ensure seamless integration of Workfront with other systems in the Adobe stack to support cross-functional collaboration.
  3. Adobe Experience Cloud Stack Mastery:
    • Leverage in-depth knowledge of the Adobe stack (AEM, Workfront, Analytics, Target, etc.) to drive cohesive digital strategies for clients.
    • Design and support integrations across Adobe tools to create a unified digital marketing and content management ecosystem.
    • Recommend and implement best practices for data collection, segmentation, and analysis using Adobe Analytics.
    • Support the deployment of personalized experiences through Adobe Target, aligned with client goals.
  4. Technical Leadership & Strategy:
    • Lead technical discussions and collaborate with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with business requirements.
    • Provide strategic input on technology roadmaps, advising on AEM architecture, Adobe stack integrations, and workflow optimizations.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of emerging trends in content management and martech solutions, ensuring that our platform offerings remain cutting-edge.
  5. Documentation & Training:
    • Develop comprehensive technical documentation for AEM and Workfront implementations.
    • Provide training and support to teams on how to best utilize the Adobe Experience Cloud stack, particularly around improving efficiency and optimizing workflows within Workfront.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience working with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) in an architect or senior development role, with proven experience in both AEM Sites and AEM Assets (DAM).
  • Workfront Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Workfront from both a technical and functional perspective. Demonstrated ability to recommend and implement workflow improvements.
  • Adobe Stack Experience: Strong expertise in the broader Adobe Experience Cloud stack, including Analytics, Target, and Campaign. Experience integrating these tools with AEM is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, Sling, OSGi, REST APIs, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Solution Design: Proven experience designing scalable, high-performing AEM solutions and integrating them with other marketing technologies.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess current processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend technology-driven solutions.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.
