Agency Demi Pastry Chef Prestigious 5 star Hotel, Central London
We are looking for a Demi Pastry Chef to join our agency and work at a famous 5-star hotel in Central London. This ongoing role offers the opportunity to work with a talented brigade of chefs, producing high-quality pastries, breads, and breakfast items for hotel guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shift Hours: Early morning shifts, 6am to 2pm, 5 days a week (ongoing).
- Pastry Preparation: Assist in the preparation and baking of fresh breads, croissants, and a variety of pastries for the breakfast service.
- Fruit Preparation: Cut and prepare fruit for use in pastries, desserts, and breakfast dishes.
- Granola Sorting: Sort and prepare granola for use in breakfast options.
- Food Quality & Standards: Ensure all pastries and breakfast items meet the high-quality standards of the hotel.
- Kitchen Organization: Keep the pastry section clean, organized, and in compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Support the team to ensure smooth and efficient service during the breakfast shift.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Full uniform and knives.
- Food Hygiene certificate.
- Good standard of spoken English for clear communication with the team.
- Experience working in a high-end kitchen, ideally with pastry or breakfast service.
- Strong attention to detail, passion for pastry, and an eagerness to contribute to a top-tier culinary operation.
